Lake Akan Frost Flowers
Frost crystals form on the frozen lake surface. As the air grows colder, they swell and blossom into frost flower shapes. This is miraculous natural art that can only form because the environs experience an intensely winter season with temperatures below minus 15 degrees Celsius. This magical world where the frozen lake surface can transform into a field of white flowers in a single night is a beautiful sight only possible at Lake Akan.
